Day 3 – 3 December 2019

We spent the morning exploring a bit more of Oia.

Satisfied that we’ve seen the important sights of Oia, we spent the rest of the day exploring the other end of Santorini, around the Akrotiri area.

After Red Beach, we tried to go to Caldera Beach, driving down the precarious route down to the shore… only to be chased back into the car by two really aggressive dogs. You should have seen us scrambling back to the car hahahah. Oh well.

We also explored the town of Pyrgos, exploring the alleys. And we made friends with this gang of friendly furry buddies:

Then, we welcomed the end of the day at Akrotiri Lighthouse. When we got there, it was just the two of us, a lone tourist, and a couple of kittens. As we were setting up our tripods, a tour bus of boisterous tourists arrived, and we had to stand our ground at our chosen spots to enjoy the sunset
