Day 1 – 1 December 2019

Our first full day in Santorini. We explored Fira, which was slightly more bustling than Oia. Our itinerary was pretty free and easy, and unlike our previous trips, we did not really plan the exact places to visit beforehand. So we walked to Imerovigli and took in the sights along the coast.

We then walked back to Fira, where we had (my birthday) lunch at a nice restaurant called Pelican Kipos.

Then we drove back to Oia, where we caught the sunset at Oia Castle for the second time. This sunset was more vivid than the day before, and we stayed longer to catch the dying rays of the sun reflect on the white buildings, turning them pink.
